About the owners

"L&M Management, Inc" is NOT a large management company owning 1000's of apartment units in the Twin Cities. Instead "Lee and Mary" are a small, family operated management company and are dedicated to maintaining safe, affordable housing for Americans.

Lee and Mary have been in apartment management since shortly after they were married in 1966. They started out with an old converted mansion on Summit Avenue.

Lee graduated from the U of M with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree in 1969 and after working in the field for a few years he decided to try his hand at selling apartment buildings. He found he really enjoyed it and liked the variety of the business. From then on Lee bought apartments and Mary managed them.

During this time they raised their four children and participated in many volunteer organizations. They have always been a very active family. Mary is a devout Catholic, donating many hours of her time to the church and community organizations. Mary, together with a small staff, manage 228 apartment units in the Twin Cities area. They currently own and manage a 15 unit in Highland Park in St. Paul, a 16 unit in W. St. Paul, a 105 unit luxury seniors (55 & older) building in West St. Paul, and a seniors (62 & older) complex in Forest Lake. Lee and Mary really enjoy managing apartments . . . and it shows.
