Ann Wagner (#115). I w= as born and raised in St. Paul. I've also = lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 7 years. I moved back to Minnesota to be near my father and children. I love gourmet cooking, movies, shoppin= g and hats! I have 2 children, and 4 grandchildren. I'm happy to be her= e at CCM and look forward to making some new friends.
Colleen Poech= mann #210 : I was born and raised on the West side/WSP. I have lived in Cottage Grove and most recently Inver Grove Heights. I wo= rk full time for the government, have 5 children, one married and another gett= ing married next June and a couple still in college. The two in college are two girls, There= sa and Angie, and they live with me on the weekends when they come home from colle= ge.
I love to golf and walk, so you may see me walking the= halls and I also enjoy swimming so the pool will be wonderful. Everyone I have met or dealt with since arriving has been very personable and welcoming so I look forward to meeting others as well. I'm very pleased t= here was an open apartment when I came to look.
I'm Dorothy H= unter (55 bldg, #331) and have lived in West St. Paul almost my entire life. I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren (= ages 4 - 33). I've been a widow for 27 years. After my retirement as an R= .N., I became a volunteer and continue to be, at the Dodge Nature Center, a nursing home, blood drives and at my church. I enjoy gardening, fishing, sports and our family events. I'm looking forward to joining the frie= ndly, active residents here at CCM.

Anniversary:
Hello to everyone and Happy belated Thanksgiving!! I just celebrated my one year anniversa=
ry
here at CCM. All the residents have
welcomed me with open arms, been patient and understanding, and made me feel
loved. I hope there will be many m=
ore
anniversaries to celebrate. Thank =
you
all!!
Flu:=
Because
of the harsh flu season, several of our residents have suffered with pneumo=
nia
or upper respiratory illness which resulted in several ambulance calls to
CCM. I hope you are all recovering
nicely from the flu and are gearing up for the Holidays. Remember, even if =
you
can’t get an H1N1 shot, you can still–and maybe should if your Dr. recommen=
ds
it–get a regular flu shot. [Not sure; maybe the time is past for getting a
regular flu shot. I know I got min=
e a
month ago.]
Holiday Season: December will be filled with many activities and events here at CCM.<=

me, there is no other, more joyous time!
Remember when you see me walking down the halls singing Christmas ca=

please join in!
Milestone:
Let's all give a shout out to Betty Gillings who just celebrated her 90th
birthday on November 19th.
Congratulations!!

So, grandma decided to get started.
I've purchased enough pink yarn to crochet an afghan, sweater, cap a=
nd
booties. I've begun to stockpile c=
lothes
and accessories, and I will have my husband attempt to paint the new
nursery. What happens if it's a
boy?!? Well...I'll just have to pa=

away the pink items for a later date!!

= A MESSAGE FROM MARY <= o:p>
I trust you had a great Thanksgiving. I am writing this just before we leave = on a 10 day cruise to get some R & R and so I am not tempted to baby-sit bef= ore I am fully healed from my surgery. Yes, my surgery went very well and I am doing just great. Thanks for the prayers. My only problem is that I cannot left a= nything over 15 pounds, so I am restricted in what I can do.
I hope I will see most of you at the Christmas party.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Please remember to sign up by December = 1, because I have to have a final count into the caterer on Wednesday morning = Dec. 2. Have a fun time decorating the = trees on the 3rd and if I don’t see you before, I will see you on the 8th at the party.
I would like to apologize for missing the November bir= thdays and repeating the October birthday in November. I, of all people should have caught it, because my mom was listed ag= ain. I guess I just did not look close enoug= h and missed it.
We do have a very busy month with the Club room reserv= ed for Christmas parties almost every weekend this month. Be sure to watch the bulletin boards for Vikings games and where the party will be if the club room is reserved for a Christmas party.
Have a very Merry and Blessed Christmas and see you on= the 8th and God Bless until next month
God Bless,

A Catholic man is struck by a bus and is lying near de= ath on the sidewalk. ''A priest, somebody; get me a priest," the man gasps to= the gathering crowd. Minutes drag on, but no one steps forward. Finally a polic= eman yells, ''A priest, please! Is there a priest in this crowd who can talk to = this man?"
Finally a little Jewish man of at least eighty years o= f age steps forrward. “Mr. Policeman," he says, ''I'm not a priest. In fact,= I'm not even a Catholic. However, for the last fifty years I've lived behind the Catholic Church on First Avenue, and I've heard their services. I can recal= l a lot of what I've heard, so maybe I can be of some comfort to this man."= ;
The policeman agrees and clears the crowd so that the = man can get to where the injured man lies. The old Jewish man kneels down, leans over the man, and in a solemn voice says, “B–4. . .
