The annual Christmas Party was a total success thanks = to Mary & Lee. It was fun to spend some leisure time with you all, enjoying the food, drink, music and DANCING! The entertainment was top-notch and Mary has booked him again for Christmas 2010. I will ma= ke sure we have a bigger dance floor so we can all get out there and kick-up o= ur heels next year. I was sore for 3 days afterwards!!
Our deepest sympathy to June Dahl's family. Due = to illness, June passed on December 14th surrounded by her family. June = has been a member of the CCM family since August 10, 1982. She will be de= arly missed by us all, and the friendships made will be forever cherished. =
Until next month....

Brunch this month will be on Saturday the 16th. = The Casino Trip will be Thursday the 7th. The Birthday/Anniversary Potluck will be Monday the 25th. When I get the schedule I will post day= s and times.
We said good-by to June Dahl in December. She was a long time resident of CCM and= a WONDERFUL lady. She will be missed= .
That's it for=
this
month. Take care.

A MESSAGE FROM MARY <= o:p>
I trust you all had a very happy and blessed Christmas= . I would like to thank everyone for the = gifts and cards from so many of you. Tha= t was very nice of you. I had a great ti= me at the party and from the cards and thank you gifts I would say everyone that attended had a great time also. I = have booked the same entertainer and of course the caterer.
Potluck was very good this month, I was even able to a= ttend for once and it was nice enjoying all the great food. We have some great co= oks at Country Club Manor.
My folks made it to Texas in one piece and my sister s= aid the driving was not that bad. It d= id take them a little longer than usual, but they made it safe and sound. They enjoyed the party, but said they d= id not appreciate nature’s harsh welcome (like the snow and cold). Sorry about that Mom and Dad. This has been the coldest and snowiest Christmas in a long time!
I will not be able to make the New Year’s Eve party, b= ut I am sure you will all have a great time. Enjoy and bring in the New Year with a bang. I can hardly believe how fast this year= has gone.
Be sure to watch for your CRP rent credit form the end= of the month and put it in a safe place or file right away. It is a lot of work to get them done, s= o if you need a replacement we do charge a fee of $25.00.
We will also be checking smoke detectors during the la= st two weeks of January, so be sure to watch for the notice.
Be sure to be careful when you go outside; it is icy everywhere you go. After that wet = snow on Christmas and then freezing, there is ice everywhere you go.
I would also like to extend our deepest Sympathy to the family of June Dahl. She was a great and wonderful person and will be missed here at Country Club Manor. You ar= e all in my prayers.
Happy New Year! Until next month have safe one and God
Bless, Mary

1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila
Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Then take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again to be sure it is of the highest quality. Pour one level cup and drink...
Turn on the electric mixer; beat one cup butter in a l=

it's
best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK!
Try another cup just in case.
Turn off the mixerer thingy!
Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl, then chuck in the cup of dried
fruit. Pick the frigging fruit up =
off
the floor!! Mix on the turner... If the dried druit gets stuck in the be=
aters,
just pry it loose with a drewscriver!
Sample the Cuervo to check again for tonsisticity. Next...sift two cups of salt, or
something?!? Who geeves a s...t! Check the Jose Cuervo! Now, shift the lemon juice and strain y=
our
nuts. Add one table, a spoon of su=
gar or
somefink...whatever you can find!!!
Greash the oven, turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall
over. Don't forget to beat off the
turner! Finally...throw the bowl t=
hrough
the window, finish the Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the
dishwasher....
